The Parish Council is strongly committed to preserving the character and heritage of Old Milverton and Blackdown for future generations to enjoy. The biggest planning issue affecting the parishes at the moment is the South Warwickshire Local Plan. Read about how we are addressing the issue on our Local Plan page.

At the same time, property developers Taylor Wimpey and Richborough are bringing forward two separate proposals for developing the green belt in Old Milverton and Blackdown. These are likely to be presented as planning applications to Warwick District Council before Warwick District Council has submitted the Local Plan to Government. We are opposing these proposals as speculative and premature.
