Green Belt under threat in latest Local Plan

The green fields of North Leamington feature once again as a proposed development site in the latest iteration of the South Warwickshire Local Plan, according to papers published for the Joint Cabinet Committee of Warwick and Stratford District Councils which is being held on 28th May. Old Milverton & Blackdown Joint Parish Council are dismayed that the representations that they, and hundreds of others, have made over the past four years have not succeeded in removing this site from the plan. We continue to oppose the inclusion of this site and we have engaged the services of two respected planning consultancy firms who are supporting us in the formulation of our response.
